UK school groupsThe brothers of the community want Taizé to be a place of trust, a safe place for those who come to seek inner peace. Everyone needs to be vigilant about this. For their safety it is inadvisable for women to go walking alone on isolated paths outside Taizé. If you become aware that any person has been subjected to sexual abuse, we ask that you speak about it immediately, particularly if the person concerned is under 18. Speak with either your group leader, or a brother of the community, or a sister (a sister who is a nurse is available 24 hours a day in El Abiodh). Please act in the same way regarding use of drugs or excessive consumption of alcohol.
