Regular buses

Outside the summer period, when the direct coach service is not running, the simplest (least expensive) London to Taizé journey is to travel to Paris by iDBUS and then on by train. Slow (and cheap) trains run to Mâcon-Ville from Paris-Bercy, which is the iDBUS terminus in Paris. From Mâcon-Ville there is a direct bus, costing only €1.50 to Taizé.
Notes:
- Paris-Bercy is within easy walking distance of Paris-Gare de Lyon, so it is also possible to continue your journey by high-speed train (TGV): see trains page.
- There are other, even cheaper, London-Paris bus routes, such as Megabus, however the drop off point in Paris is not so convenient for getting to Taizé.
