Please explain well to all group members about
the simple lifestyle in Taizé
the daily program
community prayer: morning, midday and evening.
It can help them to:
see a video about the meetings;
hear the experiences of a young person who has already been to Taizé.
If you want to find a young person in your area who has been to Taizé and who could visit your group, then write to ask us.
Everyone must be ready to take part fully in all the different aspects of the week’s meetings.
The Letter 2010, to be published at the Poznan meeting, can also help for preparation. It will be used throughout the year for the meetings in Taizé.
Other resources that can be helpful as you form a group:

“Teenagers in a monastery… Yeah Right!” (published 2007) Illustrated booklet written by a group of young people from Cornwall after their stay at Taizé. Contact Andrew Nicholson, +44 7939 984298.
A3 size, colour posters are available from Taizé (In the UK, contact Helen Hawthorn, tel: 020 8656 1439 — send stamps to cover UK postage.)
If you’re a group leader, please click here for further information about bringing young adult groups or 15/16 year olds to Taizé. You can then pre-register your group. Please do this as soon as you can, even if you don’t know how many people you’ll be bringing.
Before you leave for Taizé, try and fix a time and place in the weeks after your visit to gather the group once again. This will enable you to reflect together on what was important for each group member and how those experiences might help in everyday life.
