Young Adult Meetings 2010

How long can we stay?

Young adults from 17 to 29 years old

Young adults from 17 to 29 years old generally stay for one week, from Sunday to Sunday.

It is however good to know that staying a second or third week, in silence or helping with practical work, proves important for many young people. If you’re interested in this, speak with a brother or sister during your first week.

Some young people, after a first visit to Taizé, express the wish to come back for longer for one or several months and be part of the team of volunteers. See the page about staying longer in Taizé.

15 and 16 year olds

15 and 16 year olds can stay for a maximum of one week. Their group leaders should have the written agreement of their parents. Young people of this age are also welcome for a weekend stay, from Thursday evening until Sunday if possible.
