Young adults from 17 to 29 years old
Young adults from 17 to 29 years old generally stay for one week, from Sunday to Sunday.
It is however good to know that staying a second week, in silence or helping with practical work, proves to be an important experience for many young people. If you’re interested in this, speak with a brother or sister during your first week.
Some young people, after a first visit to Taizé, express the wish to come back for longer — for one or several months — and be part of the team of volunteers. See the page Volunteering at Taizé.
15 and 16 year olds
15 and 16 year olds cannot stay longer than one week. Group leaders who bring under 18s need to have the written agreement of their parents (see Bringing a group of young people). Young people of this age are also welcome for a weekend stay — preferably from Thursday evening until Sunday.
