Christ Jesus, multitudes of children and young people have been marked for life because they were abandoned; they are like strangers on this earth. There are some who wonder: “Does my life still have any meaning?” And you assure us of this: Each time you alleviate the suffering of an innocent person, you do it for me, Christ. (3)
