some thoughts of Lilya about small groups and workshops etc:

wrong translation of the very word " workshop", which was mostly translated as "Семінар" seminar (which looses the very meaning of workshop):
 writer’s workshop - поетичний гурток
 drama workshop - драматичний гурток
 pottery workshop - гончарський гурток

This word "гурток" in Ukrainian takes into account only practical tasks not discussion, but presupposes in a way sharing experience, which such words as "група" (group), "заняття" (class) don’t include. 
That’s why I think it is good to take the word "гурток", but to add words "ділення" (sharing) and "обговорення" (discussion) to cover those semes which are lacking in this word comparing with "workshop".

It will be " гуртки ділення і обговорення". This phrase can be used while introducing workshops and in all other contexts it can be simply " гурток".
And "small sharing groups" which are after Bible introduction could be seemply " групи ділення".
