Youth meetings
The meetings always run from Sunday to Sunday. Young adults can also arrive on Saturday evenings if they are staying for the following week. In this case, they will be asked to help welcome those who arrive the following day.
(A weekend stay from Thursday or Friday until Sunday is also possible, but it really is better to stay the full week. A stay from Saturday morning to Sunday is too short to enter into the rhythm of life in Taizé.)
Meetings for adults
In 2020, we will welcome adults over 30 years-old from Sunday 29/03 to Sunday 18/10.
Because we were unable to welcome people during spring 2020, adults over 30 can also come this year between November 1 and December 27.
We ask the adults over 35 years-old for whom it is possible to avoid busy periods like Holy Week, Easter Week, Ascension week (17-24 May 2020) and from mid-July to the end of August. The following times are less busy: from 29/03 to 05/04, from 19/04 to 17/05, from 14/06 to 15/07 and from 30/08 to 18/10.
Meetings for adults always run from Sunday through to the following Sunday.
(A weekend stay from Thursday or Friday until Sunday is also possible, but it really is better to stay the full week. A stay from Saturday morning to Sunday is too short to enter into the rhythm of life in Taizé.)
Please make sure you read carefully all the information in Meetings for adults over 30 before making further plans.
Adults wanting to spend the week in silence, should please read the page A week in silence before deciding when to come.
Meetings for families with children
During summer 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no special programme in Olinda. Families can come to Taizé until September 27, but the number will be limited for each week.
Contact the meetings team by email for further details.
