Graz 2018: Sharing the Future

Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 October Taizé-Graz brings together young people from all over Europe under the theme "SHARING THE FUTURE".

Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 October 2018, young adults (18 to 35s) from across Europe will be gathering in Graz – a former European Capital of Culture. The churches of different denominations in the city are at the origin of this invitation. 16-17-year-olds may also attend the meeting if they accompanied by an adult.

With the theme “Sharing the Future” young people from Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia and other countries will come to spend four days in Graz. Common prayers will be held in churches of the World Heritage-listed Old Town. The prayer-times, the discussion groups and workshops will help participants discover God’s presence, and share their experiences, ideas and hopes.

Prayer together morning, midday and evening will give the basic rhythm of the meeting. All participants will be welcomed by hosts of the church communities of Graz and the surrounding area. In the afternoons workshops on topics of culture, society and religion will be held in various venues.
