In his life on earth, Jesus needed to hear a human voice tell him, “You know that I love you.” Three times he asked Peter, “Do you love me?” (5) Christ asks each of us the very same question, age-old and always new: “Do you love me?” And he asks each of us to be attentive to those he entrusts to us.
