From 8 to 19 August the brothers of Taizé in Nairobi welcomed one hundred and thirty five young people from the five countries of East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda) for two retreats. This April, the brothers of Taizé living in Kenya have led three international retreats, one in Mombasa and two in Nairobi. Between 7 and 18 December 2011, 120 young adults: Catholics, Lutherans and Presbyterians from five countries of East Africa took part in two meetings led by Brothers of Taizé at Mji wa furaha – Nairobi.
