Someone said to Jesus: I believe! Help my lack of faith.

Peter writes: When Christ suffered, he made no threats but placed his trust in the One who judges justly. He bore our sins in his own body on the cross so that we might die to our sins and live for justice.

Christ descended to the depths of the earth, and he who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.

Jesus said: Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit unless it remains part of the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

God says: Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, my faithful love for you will not be shaken.

Paul writes: Now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For me, to live is Christ.

Jesus found these words in the book of the prophet Isaiah: The Spirit of the Lord is on me. God has sent me to announce good news to the afflicted, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.

John writes: One like a son of man, Christ, put his hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, the Living One. I was dead and now I am alive for all time.”
