God of life, your will is not a law inscribed harshly on tablets of stone. It is your love, dwelling in the depths of our being. It does not narrow our hearts, but opens them wider and wider to welcome your Holy Spirit, and to welcome the people you entrust to us.

Faithful God, you never forsake us. With you, nothing is lost. Send your Holy Spirit to complete in us what you have already begun. And we will wait in peace until the day when Christ is all in all.

God our Father, rekindle in us a passion for the unity of those who love your Son Jesus. He prayed that we might be one as he is one with you. By your Holy Spirit, lead us day by day to journey together with Christ and with one another so that all people may come to believe that you have loved them with a love which will never come to an end.
