God says: Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, my faithful love for you will not be shaken.

Paul writes: Now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For me, to live is Christ.

Jesus found these words in the book of the prophet Isaiah: The Spirit of the Lord is on me. God has sent me to announce good news to the afflicted, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.

John writes: One like a son of man, Christ, put his hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, the Living One. I was dead and now I am alive for all time.”

Peter writes: If you suffer for what is right then you are blessed! Do not be frightened. Simply proclaim the Lord Christ holy in your hearts.

Being in every way like a human being, Christ Jesus was humbler yet, and became obedient to death, death on a cross. Therefore God raised him high and gave him the name which is above all other names.

Jesus said to his disciples: You did not choose me. No, I chose you.

Paul writes: Bear each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.
