Daily Bible readings

We do not fix our eyes on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

During the last meal with his disciples, Jesus said to them, “If I, who am Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.”

John writes: I looked and saw a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, people and language. And they all fell down and worshipped God.

A leper came to Jesus and said, “If you are willing, you can cleanse me.” Filled with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!”

If you, Lord, remember all our sins, who could survive? But with you there is forgiveness; I adore you and hope in you.

Jesus said: I do nothing of myself, but I say what the Father has taught me, and the one who sent me is with me.

The Lord says: When the oppressed and needy search for water and there is none, I the Lord will answer them. I shall not forsake them. I will open rivers upon the barren heights and fountains in the valleys.

Paul writes: I continually give thanks to God for you, because of the love he has given you in Christ Jesus.
