Prayer enables us to discover where to find rest for our soul. And we are shown a reality hidden from our eyes: by the mysterious presence of his Holy Spirit, Christ is always with us. And the heart, even when overwhelmed by trials, can begin to sing anew: “Your compassion has visited me.”
