Accommodation

If you are under 36

Please try to bring a tent if you’re coming over Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, during summer or at All Saints (see the page Dates 2025).
If you cannot bring a tent, you can stay in our dormitories or tents (men and women separate) and you will be allocated accommodation when you arrive. In winter, heated dormitory accommodation is available for all. Living conditions are simple.

Bring a sleeping-bag, towel, camping mat and blankets.

36 years and over

Please read the page Meetings for adults over 35.

If possible, please come with camping equipment (tent, caravan or camping car). Otherwise, you will be given a place in shared accommodation, in Taizé or nearby, when you arrive. It is not possible to reserve particular accommodation in advance, especially in busy weeks.
• Those aged 36 to 70 are accommodated in dormitories with several beds;
• Those over 70, when possible, in 4-bedded rooms;
• Couples, when possible, are given twin-bedded rooms in Taizé or in villages nearby. Young couples may be accommodated in tents.

Please bring sheets or a sleeping-bag, and a towel.

Families with children

Please read the page Meetings for families.

If possible, please come with camping equipment (tent, caravan or camping car). Otherwise, families are given given a room, a small dormitory or a family tent, in Ameugny, Taizé, or nearby. Families with very young children are given priority for accommodation in rooms. Living conditions are simple.

Please bring sheets or sleeping-bags, towels, as well as cots for any very young children.
