Living God, the good news of your love fills our hearts with gratitude. Knowing that we are loved without conditions becomes the source of a joy that never dries up. And yet, when that joy fades away in the midst of the darkness that surrounds us, open our eyes to very simple gestures of human goodness and to the unique beauty of your creation. And then we find that you were there, without our knowing it.
