Jesus said: There is no greater love than to give one’s life for those one loves.

The Lord says: My people are so dear to me that, whenever I speak of them, I remember them lovingly. Therefore my heart yearns for them and has compassion on them.

Give generously to the poor. Let your generosity extend to all the living. Do not turn your back on those who weep, but share the grief of the grief-stricken.

As Jesus passed along the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the sea–for they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of people.”

Paul writes: Bear with one another and forgive whatever grievances you have against one another. The Lord has forgiven you, do the same in your turn.
