Young People (18-35)
Each day, a Bible reflection is given by a brother of the community or by a sister of Saint Andrew, followed by small-group sharing.
In the afternoon, workshops help to deepen the relationship between faith and life, solidarity and the search for peace, social questions and ecology, art and culture, etc.

General Information
for a week at Taizé
For Groups: More Information
Dates
In 2026, we welcome young adults aged 18 to 35 every week, from February 1st to December 24th.
All meetings take place from Sunday to Sunday.*
A weekend stay from Thursday or Friday to Sunday is also possible. However, it is preferable to come for a full week. A weekend stay with arrival on Saturday morning is too short to get into the rhythm of life in Taizé.
Young people from 18 to 35 years old: Every week from February 1 to December 24.
The exceptions to this rule are the two weeks around Easter, during which the day of arrival and departure is Monday.
In 2026, this means
- Holy Week: Sunday March 29 to Monday April 6
- Easter Week: Monday April 6 to Sunday April 12
Accommodation
Living conditions are simple. Please try and bring a tent if you come at Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, in the summer and for All Saints’.
Please also bring a sleeping-bag, mat or air-mattress and blankets.
If you cannot bring a tent, you will stay in one of our tents or in a cabin (men and women separate). You will receive your accommodation upon arrival. In the winter, heated cabins are available for all.
Contribution to the costs
The hospitality at Taizé is financed by contributions from participants in the meetings, and everyone is asked to contribute according to their means. The suggested contribution covers meals, accommodation, and other expenses. It is not the same for everyone, but takes into account each person's means and country of origin. A minimum and maximum amount are suggested, and everyone is free to choose what they wish to give. You can read the page “Financial contribution” to find out more about how costs are calculated and the different ways of paying.
Participation in the costs proposed by day and by person in 2026
Young people from 15 to 24 years old
Young adults from 25 to 35 years old
Young adults in this age-group are invited to contribute the same amount as adults over 35, if their professional situation allows this. If not, they can give the same contribution as the younger people.
Meals and Diets
Most meals at Taizé are vegetarian, and all lunches are vegan. On some evenings, a meat option is available.
Special diets
There is a special line next to Room 10 for anyone (including adults) who requires gluten-free, lactose-free, salt-free, or nut-free meals. Details of the menus prepared in the large kitchen are available at the Casa and at the diet distribution point
Please check if these menus suit you and, if not, sign up for the special diet meal immediately after morning prayer, until 9:15 a.m., next to room 10. The kitchen needs to know how many special meals to prepare.
For more specific food allergies, please go to El Abiodh to see what is possible.
Plan Your Journey
On the "Plan Your Journey" page, you will find all the information you need to organize your arrival. Options for transport by train, coach (bus), plane, and taxi are detailed there.
