On Sunday, November 9, 2025, Brother Matthew and Brother Raymon were in Romainmôtier and Lausanne.

In Romainmôtier, Brother Matthew gave a meditation on the texts of the day during the 10:15 a.m. service. This visit was in response to an invitation from the Fraternité de Prière Œcuménique (FPO). The links between Romainmôtier and Taizé go back a long way. On June 29, 1952, Brother Roger and other brothers from Taizé came to take part in the 1500th anniversary celebrations.

At 4 p.m., Brother Matthew and Brother Raymon were in Lausanne for a meeting during which they shared a message of hope. This was followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m. in the cathedral, which was celebrating its 750th anniversary. About 700 people were present.
