Short meditation of the day
14 June 2021
Children can be wounded by tensions in their family, by explanations given by adults in their presence. They can feel rejected, and this engenders an inner appeal not to be abandoned. The question often comes to mind: What has happened in this child? Could he or she have been humiliated at school, on the street, or somewhere else? Will someone be there to help them find their way through a void that is affecting them in their heart of hearts? Listening to a child or an adolescent requires discretion and tact so as not to make their wounds any bigger.
