When Jesus’ disciple entered the empty tomb, he saw and believed.

Paul writes: The One who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit living in you.

Isaiah said: You who dwell in the dust, wake up and sing for joy: your dead will live.

This is what the Lord wants of you, only this: to act justly, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God.

Jesus said to a woman he had healed: Courage, my daughter, your faith has saved you.

God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. But when you are tempted, God will give you the means to stand up to it and will show you a way forward.

Jesus sent his disciples out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. So they set out and went from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing people everywhere.

A week after the resurrection Jesus came, stood among his discples and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Do not be unbelieving any more but believe.”
