God of mercy, when we feel that we are surrounded on all sides by the difficulties of life, open the eyes of our hearts to the beauty of your presence. You do everything to set us free from our fears; your salvation is your love, the source of a life renewed in you.

Eternal God, you are closer to us than we would have dared believe. Your faithfulness has no limits; and even if there are things that separate us from you, Jesus, your Son, comes to bridge the gap by giving his life to open us to a communion which can make us faithful in our turn. And we say to your Spirit, who dwells in our hearts: "Remind us at every moment of the good news of your love."

Jesus, the one sent by God, you lead us in the wake of your love. You gave your life for us so that our own lives may be transformed. Renew our hope in the eternal communion which you promise for us when you will be all in all.
