Christ Jesus, when we look at your life, we see that you struggled against injustices, but also that there were moments when you did not respond. You did not threaten anyone, but you prayed for those who hurt you so as to set us free from our faults. By your Holy Spirit, help us to discern in every situation how to live in your justice.

Christ Jesus, when we find it hard to give you our trust, you never forsake us. You stay beside us and you open to us the beauty of your presence. You heal our wounds, and the day comes when your light will shine again in our hearts. The next step becomes possible and the good news of your love sets us going again.

God, you who love us, in the midst of our trials and even when we cannot see any way forward, you are with us. May our hearts sing in your presence, to bless you and praise you day by day. Your love is an eternal love, which will guide us always.
