Christ Jesus, you came so that every human being might be able to welcome the fullness of life which God wants for everyone. By your Holy Spirit, give us the courage to strive where you want us to strive, to do all we can to support those who are suffering. May our hearts sing of your justice.

Christ Jesus, in the beginning you were there and in you everything has its accomplishment. Death was not able to keep you; you are mysteriously present with each human being. In the nights of our heart, we hear you say to us: "Do not be afraid...." The dawn begins to break, and already you open up for us the way of a life that will have no end.

Holy Spirit, as you came down on Jesus, come down into us to remind us of the words that Jesus has spoken. Lead us on the way that announces the good news of his love, which helps us to see clearly, which sets free and which always brings us closer to those who are poor and destitute.
