Christ Jesus, you are the vine and we are the branches. By your Holy Spirit make the fruits that come from you ripen in our lives. And even if our heart strays away at times, deep within we would like never to depart from you. And so help us always to remain firmly attached to all that you say to us and to welcome your presence every day.

Christ Jesus, you went down to the lowest point of our human condition to bring the good news of your love to each person. Risen from the dead, you lead us in your footsteps so that the whole universe may shine with your presence. Yes, great is your mercy!

Christ Jesus, when we look at your life, we see that you struggled against injustices, but also that there were moments when you did not respond. You did not threaten anyone, but you prayed for those who hurt you so as to set us free from our faults. By your Holy Spirit, help us to discern in every situation how to live in your justice.
