Faithful God, in a world where we often have the impression that everything is changing, and the things which help us find our direction can seem to be fading away, you offer us this certainty: your love will never depart from us. Open our hearts to welcome this good news.

Christ Jesus, you are the vine and we are the branches. By your Holy Spirit make the fruits that come from you ripen in our lives. And even if our heart strays away at times, deep within we would like never to depart from you. And so help us always to remain firmly attached to all that you say to us and to welcome your presence every day.

Christ Jesus, you went down to the lowest point of our human condition to bring the good news of your love to each person. Risen from the dead, you lead us in your footsteps so that the whole universe may shine with your presence. Yes, great is your mercy!
