Eternal God, you never promise us a life with no difficulties. Your promise, through Jesus, the Risen One, is to be with us every day until the end of time. And then we ask you: "Give me a resolute heart, to follow you right to the end." And your Holy Spirit whispers: "Do not be afraid. I am here."
