God of compassion, even though we want to love as you love us, our lives are not free of frictions or frustrations. Your miracle is your patience towards everyone. By your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Risen Christ, who is always at work in us even when we are unaware of it, create for us a patient heart. Thus it is that, through all that opposes us, your love forges a way.
