Information 2026

In 2026, the meetings in Taizé will be centred on the theme: “What are you looking for?”. Throughout the year, and especially in August, speakers from diverse backgrounds will lead workshops on themes such as the ecological transition, justice and peace, the diversity of Churches and religious traditions, and the place of faith in professional life. Unlike previous years, there will therefore be no week reserved for 18–35 year-olds in 2026, nor will there be the various themed weeks (Week of Fri

Visit in Romania

October 2025

This time was particularly varied, in several ways. There were encounters with people of different generations, reflecting the long friendship between Taizé and Romania: elderly people who had welcomed brothers back in the 1970s and 1980s; adults who came to Taizé during the 1990s and 2000s; students and high-school pupils, s

His vision that our community may have a passion for the unity of all Christians so that they may be a ferment of peace and reconciliation in the human family still burns brightly at the heart of our vocation as brothers.
