Note on the protection of private data - Taizé registration form
The Taizé Welcome Association collects personal information from those who register to participate in a Taizé meeting.
Who is responsible for data processing?
The data controller is the Taizé Welcome Association. This association, governed by legal and regulatory provisions, including the laws of July 1, 1901 and January 2, 1907, has its registered office at 71250 Taizé.
The Taizé Welcome Association complies with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, in its updated version following the inclusion of the GDPR ("General Data Protection Regulation", European directive of 27 April 2016).
The data protection officer ( [email protected] ) of the "Association de l'Accueil à Taizé" ensures the proper application of the law and respect for the rights of access, rectification, opposition, erasure, limitation and portability available to everyone in accordance with said law.
What personal data is collected?
The data collected are (mandatory information is marked with an asterisk):
- your *name, *first name, gender and *date of birth
- *parental relationship (if you come with your children)
- your profession
- information on any contributions to the meetings that you have made, it being specified that all financial information provided by you for the payment of your contribution by bank card is processed externally, by the bank
- your registration code, password, date and time of creation of the file and of the last modification, the connection IP address
- session cookies, login details
- your *address, *telephone and fax numbers, *email, *correspondence, *language, special needs, open comments, name of the group, *arrival and departure dates, *means of transport, *first and last meals, the date of the last stay in Taizé, identification of people who declare themselves as accompanying, accompanied or coming as a couple
- *the names, *first names, gender and *date of birth of those you register in your group, as well as their *mother tongue, whether or not they come in a wheelchair or accompany a person with a disability, any comments you may have added, a possible accommodation address for those who organize their own accommodation and the person responsible for registration.
How is your data collected?
The Taizé Welcome Association collects your data directly from you when you complete a registration form for Taizé meetings. By registering, you consent to the Taizé Welcome Association storing your personal data indicated above.
You must obtain consent from the individuals you register for the Accueil Association to retain their personal data as indicated above.
How is your personal data used?
Except as provided in the following paragraph, the data collected is used exclusively for matters related to your participation in Taizé meetings. It is not shared with any external organization for any other purpose, and it is never used for commercial purposes. The data is secured with the utmost care, and those working in the meetings team are carefully informed about the confidentiality of the information they process.
If - and only if - you indicate your interest and consent through the form, the Taizé Welcome Association may send you occasional messages directly or indirectly about meetings that may be of interest to you; for example, about a meeting in your region or country, or other information that may be useful for planning a future stay. Security of personal data
The Taizé Welcome Association implements appropriate technical measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal data, and to prevent the risk of loss, deterioration, or misuse of this data. The data is processed and stored in the Taizé Welcome Association's computer system and by a professional service provider in France.
What are your rights?
In accordance with applicable regulations, you may at any time exercise your right to access, rectify and delete data concerning you, as well as object to the processing of said data. You have the right to erasure, the right to limit the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. You may, at any time, revoke the consent you have given. You may exercise your rights by contacting the Association de l'Accueil à Taizé, electronically ( [email protected] ) or by post (Data Processing Manager, Association de l'Accueil à Taizé, 71250 TAIZÉ France).
How long do we keep your data?
- Email correspondence with you is generally deleted eighteen months after the date of the meeting for which you registered and is not kept beyond two years.
- All other personally identifiable information in registration forms (names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.) is placed in the interim archives after a period of two years. Access to the interim archives is limited exclusively to matters relating to the protection of individuals.
- Intermediate archives are anonymized after a period of ten years. Your personal data is therefore deleted ten years after your participation in the meeting.
- There may be special cases related to the protection of individuals for which data is retained for longer periods. In these cases, the data subjects will be informed of the reasons justifying this period as well as the retention period.
Modification of the data protection policy
Any modification to this policy by the "Association de l'Accueil à Taizé" will be subject to an update of this page.
